Geodata Updates

 

NAIP Status

The 2005 National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP) photography for Michigan has been deployed to all field office servers. NRCS ArcMap project templates have been updated to include a new layer named "NAIP 2005". Please see the GIS Skill Builder "Using NAIP Photography" for more information.

 

 

Training Updates

 

ESRI Virtual Campus

ESRI recently announced that ArcGIS 8.x courses will no longer be available on their Virtual Campus website beginning in August of 2006. Anyone with unfinished ArcGIS 8.x Virtual Campus courses is strongly encouraged to complete those courses by August 11, 2006. This applies to ArcGIS 8.x related courses only - ArcGIS 9.x courses are not affected.

 

 

Software Updates
 

Customer Service Toolkit

The next generation of Customer Service Toolkit is expected to be released in the fall of 2006. The update will include migration to ArcGIS 9. Additional information will follow as it becomes available.
